Q.

What is the difference between federal, state, and local government grants?

A.
Federal, state and local government grants are offered by different tiers of government to different groups of people. Federal grants can be obtained by any eligible person who applies nationwide if their proposal is picked. State level grants are only offered to those within the state, and local ones are offered by smaller branches of government to the people in a small local area. Each of the grants have their own eligibility requirements and intended uses. So, it is best to look at programs at each level when seeking the best ones for your needs.
